DulePUNK na koncertu Sex Pistolsa u Manchesteru

Sex Pistols Live by Dule Punk --> Mp4 4,8 Mb Kada sam se negde juna meseca vracao autom iz Rotterdama sa koncerta The Who, mislio sam da je poseta rock concerata zavrsena. Zapravo nisam mogao da pomislim ko bi to me mogao toliko zainteresovati da ponovo dodjem. A i koncert je bio toliko dobar i kvalitetan da nisam u tom momentu nista drugo mogao da zamislim. Naravno, kao sto je poznato, letos sam se zadesio u Zrenjaninu u momentu kada se odrzavala poznata parada, koncert Roling Stones na uscu u BG. I kad je moj kum Puta rekao “moras”, ja sam posao sa njim. Naravno cela ova kratka prica ima i nastavak. Pre desetak dana tacnije 17 novembras sam iz bolesnicke postelje krenuo za London kod nasih poznatih prijatelja ( Pera, Nena, Duca, Goga…). Krajni cilj Manchester. Koncert Sex Pistolsa i legendarnog JOHNNY Rotten-a. Pa zar sam ja mogaon tu sansu da propustim. Ja koji sam, pre 30 godina, ljubomorno cuvao i do besvesti slusao singlericu God Save The Queen koju je Goc doneo iz Londona. Ja koji sam na ledjima nosio slova Punk, osmislio i sakupio band Prle & Famozni Vibratori i dobio nezaboravni nadimak PUNK Detalje sa koncerta nebih iznosio. To nije bila besprekorna i kvalitetna rock svirka……..kao The Who, to nije bila najveca cirkuska predstava svih vremena kao Roling Stones. Koncert je bio rasprodan (15.700), kao i predhodnih pet u Londonu. Jonny je jednostavno imitirao samog sebe od pre 30 godina. U tome je izdrzao celih sat 15min, uz inhalator za asmu, i velike kolicine vode. Napustio sam sutradan Manchester iz luksuznog hotela, bez mamurluka. Da bio sam po prvi put trezan na koncertu, i to bas sad. Bio sam pravi deda kome je doctor zabranio pice. Vracao sam se brzim vozom u London sa dve litre vode, kao i Johnny. Bio sam verovatno jedini trezni posetilac i to iz exYU, pored svih pijanih engleza. Bio sam zadovoljan. Ja DulePUNK u beloj kosulji, stofanom kaputu, sa Lenjinovom znackom na reveru, znao sam da uvek treba biti blesav i lud onakav kakav jesi. I ako prezivim sve ovo, mislim na ovaj jebeni virus, vidimo se opet marta u Steffaniju kod Marinca na novoj predstavi. “Rock & Roll Party II” DulePUNK Photo gallery Manchesteronline > Paul Taylor > posted 18 November 2007 A Rousing overture of Vera Lynn's patriotic anthem There'll Always Be An England ushered the Sex Pistols on stage. John Lydon surveyed the full house and declared: "It's been 30 years, and I'm half a century young." Yes, three decades and more since the Pistols played the Free Trade Hall and kick-started everything we still hold dear in Manchester's music scene. Yet, watching this band, exhumed from rock's graveyard for only their third reunion tour since imploding in 1978, one was bound to ask what on earth this night was all about. For the erstwhile Johnny Rotten, guitarist Steve Jones, bassist Glen Matlock and drummer Paul Cook, it was, understandably, about getting yet another payday out of the Sex Pistols. But what about we 15,000 or so souls, some with grey hair spiked up but mainly an assembly of shaven heads resembling, as one wag observed, "a snooker ball convention"? Were we honouring the stuff-you attitude co-opted by all the Mancunians who followed the trail blazed by the Pistols? Or is that great revolutionary spasm of punk now just another nostalgia trip, like the Solid Silver Sixties tour or the Here and Now 1980's re-treads? Charisma Whatever drew us there, Lydon's still-lethal charisma kept us interested. The sinewy sneering youth is now a portly 51-year old seeming to deploy the same bilious, impotent rage as Victor Meldrew. Sporting baggy tartan trousers, oversized white shirt and blue waistcoat, there was also something of the vaudeville turn about him. The Pistols make mischief with a warped notion of patriotism, not just the Vera Lynn songs which topped and tailed the set, but the St George's Cross flags adorning the amps, Cook's Union Jack drum kit and the way Lydon rolled up his shirt, grabbed a fistful of doughy gut and gurned: "Best of British". Where better to witness this heavily ironic national "pride" than in God Save The Queen. For this song, as with Anarchy In The UK, the visceral Liar and Pretty Vacant, Lydon upped the malevolent energy, and the crowd responded. A middle-aged mosh pit flailed beneath the singer's bug-eyed gaze. And yet in the 70 minutes granted us, there were many songs from the Pistols' slender songbook which barely merited a shrug of the shoulders. EMI? A song about what rotters there are in the music business? Everyone bar Katie Melua has now written that song, haven't they?. No, only one Pistols' song, Bodies - revelling horribly in the idea of abortion - now retains anything approaching shock factor. As for the music, there was never anything very revolutionary about the Pistols, the now-stolid Jones churning out honest riffage like a pub rocker. No. It's all about Lydon, coughing, spitting, sneering, staring and getting all worked up about God knows what. Hearteningly, he's still crazy after all these years ………….
